A Møbelkompagniet showroom

Møbelkompagniet

Nine showrooms across Denmark and Germany, scanned as Matterport tours — each new location captured as the chain opened it.

A tour programme that grew with the business.

Møbelkompagniet sells furniture online to customers across Denmark and, since opening in Hamburg, beyond it. Its showrooms exist so people can see pieces in person — but most customers never will. The 3D tours close that gap: every showroom can be walked from anywhere. The work has run alongside the chain's expansion, with each new showroom scanned as it opened rather than in one campaign.

Nine showrooms, two countries.

The tour opens in place — it is not loaded until you ask for it.

One capture standard, nine rooms, two countries.

A retail showroom changes constantly — stock rotates, layouts move. Capture had to fit around trading hours and leave the room exactly as found, while producing tours consistent enough that nine of them read as one system.

  1. Schedule

Each capture arranged around the showroom's own trading hours.

  2. Scan

Matterport capture across the full floor, with a consistent scan density and height.

  3. Process

Trimmed, aligned and given a consistent starting view before publication.

  4. Hand over

Tours delivered ready to embed on the client's own showroom pages.
