Three visitor sites, one collection.
The Royal Danish Collection — until 2025 named Kongernes Samling — cares for six visitor sites across Denmark. Three of them were photographed and scanned in one engagement: Rosenborg Castle and the Amalienborg Museum in Copenhagen, and Koldinghus in Jutland. Each is a protected building holding a national collection, so the work had to fit each institution's own house rules on access, visitor traffic and lighting rather than the other way round.

Three sites, three sets of conditions.
A treasury, a set of royal chambers and a restored castle ruin ask for three different approaches. Choose one to walk through it.
Christian IV's Renaissance castle in Kongens Have. The tour covers the Great Hall with its thrones and silver lions, and the Treasury, where the Danish crown jewels are kept.

Each site was scheduled around its own opening hours and visitor flow. A fixed capture standard and one post-production pass kept the three deliveries consistent despite very different rooms, light levels and building fabric.
Agree access
Time windows and routes agreed separately with each of the three sites.
Capture
Photography and 3D scanning under available light, with no added lighting equipment, within each institution's house rules.
Post-produce
Colour, geometry and tour starting views checked across all three sites before delivery.
Publish
Tours prepared for Google Maps and for the museum's own channels.
“rt rosenberg photographed our three visitor sites Rosenborg, Amalienborg and Koldinghus. rt rosenberg was great at explaining our options before the collaboration started and quick to answer questions along the way. We are very satisfied with the partnership.”
